 In Pasto, you should visit La Cocha Lake. You can walk around the shore, check out the small island, and try out fresh trout in local restaurants. If the weather is clear, you will enjoy wide views of the mountains.

You must check out Las Lajas Sanctuary near Ipiales. You can walk down the path to the church, look out over the canyon, and take in the Gothic architecture. If you go early in the morning, you will avoid the crowds and get better photos.

You can also stop by Iglesia de San Juan Bautista, a church in the city center where you can take photos and learn about local history. If you get lost in the streets, you can always ask locals who will be happy to guide you.
